AIMEE RESTER

Introducing Aimee Rester, an accomplished educator with over 25 years of experience in public schools, holding a degree in early childhood/elementary education from South Alabama. Aimee was a Certified Alabama Reading Initiative coach and a certified Alabama Math Science and Technology Initiative Science trainer for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.

Passionate about teaching, Aimee has transitioned her expertise to daycare, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive in physical, emotional, and spiritual development. With a holistic approach, she goes beyond mere supervision, addressing the needs of the whole child.

As a Science coach for Kindergarten through 5th Grade teachers, Aimee has actively participated in professional development creation and delivery. She served on the Alabama state team to write Science proficiency scales and provided Math and Science training to teachers in Alabama.

Recognizing the crucial role of early childhood in lifelong learning, Aimee infuses her methods with engaging activities and imaginative play at our day care. Her goal is to empower each child to unlock their full potential.

KATLYN JENKINS

Meet Katlyn Jenkins, a seasoned day care professional with over 12 years of invaluable experience in daycare settings. 

From running afterschool programs to serving as an Assistant Director and even fulfilling the role of Children's Pastor. Katlyn's journey in childcare has been diverse and enriching.

With a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, Katlyn brings a unique blend of skills and understanding to the world of daycare. Her commitment to children's well-being goes beyond conventional boundaries, emphasizing a holistic approach to childcare.

At Destiny Kids Academy, Katlyn ensures that children aren't just supervised; they're nurtured in an environment that fosters growth and development in all aspects. 

With a focus on exploration, learning, and the development of essential life skills, Katlyn's diverse experience and educational background contribute to creating a daycare experience that exceeds expectations.
